The Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) alongside Dr. Rabia Malik (Neurologist, Rush University Medical Center) and Richard Dineen (Genetic Counselor, Rush University Medical Center) will host a live webinar for families to learn more about genetic testing.
Topics discussed during this hour-long session will include an overview of genetic testing, a review of the genetic testing process, what roles different providers and the family play and what options are available for covering testing. Participants will hear from a family about their journey and experience with genetic testing. Questions will be able to be asked through the online chat feature.
