Meet Our Presenter:
Steven Cannon, MD, PhD, is a leading expert in skeletal muscle channelopathies, including periodic paralysis. He is a professor at UCLA with decades of research focused on the genetic and physiological mechanisms underlying muscle excitability disorders. Dr. Cannon has contributed extensively to advancing understanding and treatment of periodic paralysis through both laboratory research and clinical collaboration.
