The Medical Education team has partnered with Mary Holt-Paolone from the MDA/ALS Center of Hope at Temple University and Ashfield Healthcare, LLC to create a detailed presentation of best practices in mental health care for adult patients with neuromuscular disease (NMD). The slides will review the biological and psychosocial issues that impact the mental health and emotional needs of adult patients, and provides guidance on assessing the mental health needs of this population and incorporating these considerations into the treatment plan.
