This webinar will explore the mechanisms underlying respiratory dysfunction in neuromuscular disorders (NMD), disease-specific patterns of respiratory involvement, and practical strategies for screening and coordinating care.
Recognize sleep and respiratory complications in NMDs, including key risk factors.
Identify patients who may benefit from screening and evaluation for sleep-disordered breathing and nocturnal hypoventilation.
Coordinate multidisciplinary respiratory care through appropriate referral and integration of specialist recommendations.
