MDA Summer Retail Campaigns

Our Summer Camp-focused retail campaigns, including the iconic pinups and roundup options, highlight one of MDA's integral platforms and provide children and young adults living with muscular dystrophy and related neuromuscular conditions a place to build confidence, independence, and lifelong friendships. Additionally, funds from this campaign go towards accelerating research, advancing care, and advocating for families living with neuromuscular diseases.

    Meet Ryan Michael

    MDA was there for Ryan Michael shortly after he received his diagnosis of Duchenne muscular dystrophy when he was 8 years old. His family is thankful to MDA for providing opportunities for families impacted by muscular dystrophy to connect. MDA Let’s Play has provided a space for Ryan Michael and his family to connect with other families while having fun playing games together. He also loves MDA Summer Camp! Ryan Michael’s mom says, “the camp staff and MDA volunteers are AMAZING!!!”

    Meet Lilian

    MDA is an important resource for Lilian’s family. Support groups, connections to other community members, and MDA Care Centers have been extremely helpful for Lilian and her family. Lilian especially loves attending MDA Summer Camp, calling it ‘the best week of the year’!

    Meet Callen

    Living with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease is difficult for Callen, but MDA has been a huge source of support for his family. He loves attending MDA Summer Camp and being able to spend time with other kids who are experiencing the same things. His mom loves attending MDA events because she is able to meet other families in similar situations. Callen believes that “no matter the situation, goals and dreams can be achieved!”
