This Grand Rounds webinar with Partha Ghosh, MD (Boston Children’s Hospital) and Elena Caron, MD (Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital) will discuss information that is critical to spotting early neuromuscular disease. Experts will describe clinical profiles, pinpoint red flags, recommend key screening tests, and navigate suspected NMD in through case discussion.
● Recognize signs and symptoms of pediatric neuromuscular disease (NMD), and identify testing modalities to utilize in cases of suspected NMD.
● Recognize the importance of timely referral, and demonstrate confidence when referring patients with suspected MD to relevant specialists.
● Identify ways to streamline communication with patients and specialists to optimize referral and coordinate ongoing care.
