MDA For Strength Independence & Life

Help Through Services and Support

MDA is committed to helping kids and adults with muscle-debilitating diseases live longer and grow stronger. We offer numerous services and resources in hometowns across America that provide care, support and guidance through every step of your journey.

The Muscular Dystrophy Association publishes two award-winning magazines — Quest (print and online) and MDA/ALS Newsmagazine (online only).

Both Quest and the MDA/ALS Newsmagazine provide readers with breaking news, research analysis, medical and day-to-day care, helpful products and devices, social and family issues, profiles about inspiring people and much more.

Quest Winter 2016 Quest Magazine is MDA’s quarterly, award-winning publication. It's the leading source of information and inspiration for children and adults with muscular dystrophy, ALS and related muscle-debilitating diseases that limit muscle strength and mobility. Within its pages, you'll find: the latest news on MDA's research progress; useful information on living with disabilities; inspiring and informative firsthand accounts from people living with neuromuscular diseases; reports on products and services that enhance independence; information about important legislation, insurance, federal benefits, and adapted education; and updates on MDA events. Once you register with your local MDA office, you’ll begin receiving Quest at no cost. In addition, MDA’s Quest Magazine section on the MDA website offers an enhanced version of the print magazine, with additional news articles and features not available in print.
MDA/ALS Newsmagazine Online The award-winning MDA/ALS Newsmagazine is an online-only publication dedicated to meeting the needs of individuals and families with a diagnosis of ALS. The online site features: the most up-to-date ALS research news; articles for caregivers; profiles of people affected by ALS; daily living strategies; helpful products, services and technology; weekly blogs from individuals in the ALS community; and archives to past print magazine articles.
