2020 MDA Engage: Friedreich’s Ataxia (FA)

Friedreich Ataxia (FA) is a neuromuscular disease that mainly affects the nervous system and the heart. FA affects about one in 50,000 people worldwide, making it the most common in a group of related disorders called hereditary ataxias. This MDA webinar will discuss Friedreich Ataxia and will highlight current research and clinical trials in this diagnosis. Dr. S. H. Subramony is the featured speaker for this webinar. Dr. Subramony directs the adult Muscular Dystrophy clinics and Ataxia clinic at the University of Florida Health in Gainesville, FL.
