Take the Workshop

This workshop is designed to provide an overview of the common considerations for higher educational planning as a student with a neuromuscular disease. The community can expect to gain information to support their journey as they navigate the process of choosing a school that is right for them and how to prepare financially. Students in the neuromuscular disease community can except to take away tools and resources to confidently advocate for accessibility and accommodations in housing, around campus, and in the classroom. This workshop will review who can support students as they encounter access barriers from the beginning of their higher education experience through graduation. The workshop is designed so participants can take the full workshop or navigate to a specific area of interest.
