LEGAL AND FINANCIAL ISSUES

Before the final stages of the disease, be sure legal and financial issues are taken care of:

Make sure your son's will is up to date and accurately expresses his wishes.

Review life insurance policies, if any, and make sure the beneficiaries he wants are named.

If he holds title to any property, consider transferring title early to avoid problems or delays after his death. Consult with your attorney or financial adviser first.

Discuss his wishes for funeral and burial arrangements.
