CAN I "CATCH" MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY?

No. Inherited disease aren't contagious.

 


IS IT SOMEONE'S FAULT THAT MY BROTHER HAS MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY?

No. Muscular dystrophy is no one's fault -- not yours, your brother's, your mother's or your father's. It's an inherited disease and beyond the control of anyone.

WILL I GET MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY LATER ON?

If you don't have muscular dystrophy now, chances are you won't get it later on.

 


WILL MY CHILDREN HAVE DUCHENNE MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY?

If you're a girl, there's a chance that some of your sons my have the disease. If you're a boy, none of your children will have the disease.
