- Creativity Transcends Disability
Waterlily Dream, an oil painting by Diane zum Brunnen of Alameda, Calif., is one of more than 100 works of art created by children and adults affected by neuromuscular diseases included in the MDA Art Collection. Zum Brunnen, 46, has limb-girdle muscular dystrophy. Her work has been featured in several one-woman shows in the Bay Area.
