SOAP STAR JACOB YOUNG PLAYS

TUCSON, Ariz., Nov. 1, 2007 - Actor and singer Jacob Young will donate his winnings on the popular game show “Wheel of Fortune” to the Muscular Dystrophy Association during the show’s People Celebrity Week. The episode will air on Friday, Nov. 16.

Young is a four-year veteran on ABC’s Emmy Award-winning soap opera “All My Children,” portraying the character J.R. Chandler.

He’s received two Daytime Emmy award nominations for his role. In 2002, he took home the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Lead Actor for the role of Lucky Spencer on “General Hospital.”

A native of Renton, Wash., Young has also appeared in a feature film and in several Broadway productions.

Robin Strasser, who portrays Dorian Lord on ABC’s “One Life to Live,” and Gina Tognoni, who portrays Dinah Marler on CBS’s “Guiding Light” will play alongside Young.
