Nieto, together with his wife, Lynne, serves as co-chairperson of MDA’s ALS Division. He is also spearheading Augie’s Quest, a special fast-track ALS research program designed to raise additional funds for MDA’s world-leading effort to stop ALS.

Nieto’s legendary impact on the fitness industry and current battle with ALS were recently chronicled in the Wall Street Journal. He has also been featured in Parade magazine and appeared on the national broadcast of the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon in September.

Best known for his passion and determination that led to dramatic success in his business life, Nieto is now putting that same enthusiasm and drive into his pursuit of a cure for ALS.
