Jerry Lewis' Health Improves
In response to a mountain of inquiries MDA has had from a multitude
of people deeply concerned about Jerry Lewis’ health condition,
I’m pleased to be able to say that on Jan. 16 Jerry’s doctors
told him on the 100th day of his inpatient rehabilitation program that
he’d made “an extraordinary recovery” and told him
he could go home immediately, which he did. Thus, a month-and-a-half
before the anticipated end of his rehab program, Jerry is home happy
and healthy and brimming with plans and enthusiasm for Telethon 2004.
All of us at MDA and his fans throughout the world can look forward
to a brand new Jerry next Labor Day weekend.
