My sister met Jerry Lewis when she was real little and from as far back as I can remember she has never missed watching a telethon up until the day she died (September 22, 2008 of SMA type 1). She loved watching Ed McMahon and Jerry Lewis together and thought they had such chemistry working together. I know for a fact that if she were still here today she would be very sad to know that Ed Mcmahon has passed on. So this is a tribute not only to Ed Mcmahon and Jerry Lewis, but also to my sister and all those who have lost the battle to Muscular Dystrophy. Never give give up! Ed Mcmahon and Jerry Lewis (especially) were my sisters heroes and will continue to be mine and the rest of my families too for eternity.

I have watched your telethon since 2001, and have donated every year since. It will be strange not seeing Ed McMahon on your Telethon this year. Ed will be missed. RIP Ed, and I know this year will be a success! From a 20 year old.

I have watched the show since I was like 15 here .... I will be sad not to see Ed there this year. He is in a better place now. But trust me he is watching you Jerry ...... I sure will miss him. Jerry, keep up the good work you are doing.
