Hello Jerry,
I have been watching and supporting your Telethon for a long time. And I remembered watching Ed McMahon introduce your corporate sponsors like the Tall Cedars of Lebanon, 7-Eleven, Citgo and many more. I was saddened just as you were when hearing about Ed's passing. I want to say that he will never be forgotten. Not by all of us who support you and your kids. When I watch your Telethon, I will think that Ed's voice will be right there to introduce you. Jerry, I want you to know that when you break the record this year, I have a feeling that Ed will be looking down at you and he will say "Well done, partner!" As you begin your Telethon tonight, I want to let you know that I will be watching as I always do. On behalf of myself, my girlfriend, and my friends, I want to say God Bless you and Ed for all the years you have entertained and energized us. And to Ed, in the words of Bob Hope, "Thanks for the memories!" Thank you. God Bless you! Be strong! And let's do it for Ed!
All the best,
John Busseno -

He has been such an inspiration every year i watched the telethon. What a great man he was to us all. This telethon will not be the same without our beloved Ed. I know you Jerry especialy will miss him. He was a great partner and a wonderfull friend I know. What a pleasure and great times we had watching Ed not only with you but many other TV appearances too. Thanks for the memories Ed. We love you and well never forget you.

I first saw Ed when he was on "Who Do You Trust" in the late 50's early sixties with Johnny Carson, and have watched him on TV since then. When I think of Ed I always think of laughter which is exactly what the world needs more of. He was the perfect side-kick for Johnny and Jerry, a true professional through and through. He made a lot of people happy, and I miss him sorely. Long live his memory and may he rest in peace.

I am 44 years old. I loved watching Ed McMahon on the Jerry Lewis Telethon. The Telethon will not be the same this year without him. I will miss him. R.I.P.

I have watched the telethon for 52 years and seen how Jerry and Ed walked hand in hand thru each one. Now we have lost Ed and I know it will be especially touching for Jerry this year. For the first time in my life I cannot watch the telethon because NONE of our channels thru our cable company are airing it. Not even our local WTEN which has aired it every year, has dropped it from their programming. This has made me doubly sad. I wish you well. Rest in peace Ed. You are truly missed.
