- Irreplaceable.
Victoria Hardy
- My condolences to Mr. Jerry Lewis and the entire MDA Family on the passing of a GIANT, a LEGEND, a HERO and a FRIEND Mr. Ed McMahon. GOD now has another SAINT in heaven. This year's telethon for MDA will not be the same without Ed McMahon. There is no one in my opinion who can ever take the place of Ed McMahon. May the soul of our beloved Ed McMahon rest in everlasting peace.

- This has got to be the most saddest week in Entertainment history. On thursday we lost two precious angels, Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett. And a few days before, we lost Mr. "Hey-yo!" himself Ed McMahon, a angel among angels. I cannot help but be deeply saddened by this loss and how hard it will be Mr. Lewis to not have Ed on your side for the Labor Day telethon in helping your kids and to find the cure for MDA. I write today to join the echoing sentiments of everyone in mourning. My way of remembering Ed would be to Make a donation in his name so that the work can go on to TOTALLY and FINALLY find a cure for the 40 Neuromuscular Diseases that are hurting the youth of the world today. I call to everyone from now till Labor day and after to join me in making a donation in Mr. McMahon's memory as a total memorial to his determination that all kids will be better and that all will have the liberty to enjoy life to the full without Muscular Dystrophy or Any of the 40 neuromuscular diseases. Good night Ed may flights of angels sing thee to thy rest thou good and faithful servant.

- It will be very difficult to watch the telethon this year without Ed McMahon. He did so many things for so many people. From his years on the Tonight show to the many years associated with the MDA he has gained an insurmountable amount of respect. Thank you for your dedicated service to all of Jerrys Kids!!

- Ed was a truly remarkable man. His dedication to MDA, Jerry and the telethon were a testament to his sheer greatness as a human being. Ed was a man for the ages, and I will miss his smile, his infectious laugh and his gentle good humor. He maybe gone, but his spirit will live on for MDA, and WHEN we find a cure for Muscular Dystrophy, Ed will definitely be remembered as a pioneer that made the cure possible. Goodbye dear friend!!!!

- Ed McMahon was a great friend to the members of the International Association of Fire Fighters. A true entertainer who also selflessly gave his time, heart and soul to help Jerry’s Kids and the families of those who are battling muscular dystrophy.

- I just wanted to pass along my condolences to everyone in the MDA family in regards to the passing of Ed McMahon.
I was fortunate to have a chance to speak with Mr. McMahon a couple of times during my visit to the Telethon in September. He was a very kind, gentle man whom I'm sure will be missed by everyone at MDA and beyond.

- I feel very sad about Ed McMahon's passing. He was a great man and a legend. In my eyes, and everyone who has MD, he will always be a Godsend to all of Jerry's Kids. I will never forget when I got to shake Ed's hand at the Telethon. I always enjoyed watching him work - announcing the acts and sponsors, entertaining and energizing the audience and making them laugh. It was such an incredible honor seeing him in person at the Telethons especially knowing that he was helping people with MD. I thank GOD for giving us Ed McMahon.
