- Ed McMahon will be missed on the telethon this year. I always enjoy watching the telethon. He and Jerry were so funny together, as well as he and Johnny Carson. The telethon will not be the same.

- The man with the hardy laugh will be missed. May he and Johnny will make God laugh too.

- I was saddened to learn of Ed's passing. I just learned recently that he had also served in the USMC. He had a quick wit and also a great heart for sufferers of Muscular Dystrophy and other related diseases. It is plain to see that he will be missed greatly.

- Dear Friends: I just now (08 July) learned of Mr. McMahon's passing, as I have been out of country for well over twelve-years. However, the international news has more than kept me and other expatiates well informed of Mr. Michael Jackson's passing some two-days after Mr. McMahon's passing. It's a pity really that Mr. McMahon's passing for some reason did not rate high enough in the public's opinion to be duly noted and receive some form of coverage overseas. He did after all, serve in the U.S. Military attaining the rank of Colonel I believe. And, didn't he co-host with two of the country's most widely recognised and loved comedians, Jerry Lewis and Johnny Carson? Well, for all others who feel as I, it is the truly great ones that get overshadowed and overlooked (like Mother Teresa in 1997), mostly because, well, they are Great in their own right and nothing more needs to be said when they pass away. Rest in Peace Mr. McMahon, and God's Blessings and the Blessings of the Beloved Mother Mary to your family as well always...

- Blessings In Jesus To All At My MDA Family. My Husband and I send our sincere condolences to a great man. We Will Miss seeing you with Jerry on the Telethon this 2009. As one of Jerry's Kids I always looked forward to seeing you and Jerry joke around. I will miss that :( Ed May you rest in peace knowing you lived a wonderful and productive life. God bless you.

- For everything he was and did for this cause, he will be strongly missed.

- My memories of Ed McMahon go back to when he did the Tonight Show from New York. He also covered for a number of years the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, which always made the holidays brighter. Of course, the Labor Day MDA Telethon. What a great voice, great second banana, great class act. He is at peace now, and his legacy will live on in all our minds and our hearts.

- I am sure this year's telethon will be dedicated to Ed McMahon, a true humanitarian. I have two boys with Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy and I am truly grateful to him for his involvement for 41 years. He will be truly missed. I am sure he is with Mattie Stepanek in heaven and all the other angels we have lost to these terrible diseases! RIP Ed, we love you!
Diane, Jackson and Hayden
- Ed going to be missed by everyone . God Bless you Ed and all the great work you did for MD. I will miss seeing you. God bless.
