CHICAGO, Sept. 16, 2014 — The Muscular Dystrophy Association is offering assistance with the cost of flu vaccines for individuals affected by muscle disease, including muscular dystrophy, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and other neuromuscular diseases. 

National Association of Letter Carriers Raises $1.4 Million to Help Fight Muscle Disease

CHICAGO, Sept. 10, 2014 – The Muscular Dystrophy Association today announced that the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) has raised more than $1.4 million over the past year to help save and improve the lives of people fighting muscle disease.

Vital funds provided by NALC long have supported MDA’s world-renowned research efforts, life-changing health care services and community support programs, including MDA summer camp and advocacy efforts that involve local communities.
