I am also going to Ojai Valley Inn near Santa Barbara for a few days,,, just to get some yummy spa treatments and eat some great food and hike (that is if there are no mud slides).... be back at Bade digs for Sunday and Monday YA gig...

I like the idea of the golf cart. We did a lot of walking in Avalon and took a bus tour and a glass bottom boat tour. The latter was a waste of time. The glass wasn't clear enough to see throgh. You should have a great time. How are you getting there?

Is Catalina Island going to be colder than the mainland? A couple of weeks ago Terry and I went to Magic Kingdom in Orlando and I wore a ski jacket, gloves, and ear muffs!

Alice is doing great. He faith has really helped her. She is still very busy, trying to figure what direction she wants to go in regarding employment. I think she is also planning a memorial for Ed. We haven't gotten a chance to see her yet and she rarly answers the phone. She has no time to call back or return messages. I hope to see her either her or at her house within the month.

shelly, I was so sorry to hear about his death. A friend of mine saw an announcement on Facebook and he saw his MMD diagnosis and sent me a copy of the notice. I am sorry we never met him.

Speaking of firerighters. We had some come her today. Our smoke alarm went off and although we couldn't find any sign of smoke or fire we called them and they came to check it out. No problelm. They said the alarm could have gone off due to all the construction going on around here.
