Same here at my house. My helper that comes 2 times a month, will not be coming for a long time. Her husband had a motorcycle accident and had to have his arm and leg removed. Very bad accident.

Does anyone else here on the chat have and use a Hoyer lift? It is a Hydraulic Lift and it has a Patient Slings. It works very well and Medicare paid for it for us. Barry, check with your insurance company.

It does not take up a lot of room and it is on wheels so you roll it where you need to use it. It will lift the person from the floor and to a chair, bed or sofa or where ever you need to place the person.

bette... just is getting weaker and she fell last weekend (did not get hurt).. it is getting harder and harder for her to lift herself even from her bed (we has a sleep no bed with a lift)

as julie gets weaker, I suspect I will need a hydraulic lift to get her into an electric wheelchair and get her around the condo... I do not look forward to this... the longer she walks, with me at her side, the more she can keep her mobility

The few times my husband walks using his walker, I am right behind him holding on to his belt and pants. I have kept him from falling many times, but I have to be around all the time to help him.
