The MDA Fly Out program connects the MDA community with local members of Congress to increase legislators' awareness of neuromuscular disease and the legislative issues that are of importance to our community.
The meetings also provide us with an opportunity to share information about MDA's supports and services being provided and funded in the legislators' backyards — and to highlight the sponsors, medical and research facilities, and local heroes who make all of this possible.
In addition to the personal messages being shared by MDA community members in each Fly Out meeting, the following vital legislation is being discussed in MDA Fly Out meetings nationwide this summer:
